COMMUNITY

     Donnelly, Chokio and Morris are all located in Stevens County, Minnesota. The population of Stevens County is 10,634 (1990 census); Stevens County is located about 140 miles Northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul. All three of these communities are in an area where many natural areas are open to public hunting and other recreation such as hiking, bird watching and photography. Morris is the County Seat, and is thriving. Located on the prairie, Morris is also home to The University of Minnesota Morris, as well as being a hub of agricultural research, information services and trend setting agri-businesses. Donnelly and Chokio are primarily farming communities, and also have several agri-businesses within their communities.
